Reading, phonics, math, science, and history are the core of academic studies at Summit Christian School. However, students don't just learn from books. They benefit from the latest teaching methods with plenty of opportunities for hands-on-learning through field trips, science experiments, math manipulates, and history simulations. A healthy dose of physical education, drama, music, art, computer, and Spanish compliment the academic studies at Summit Christian School .
It is our highest privilege to challenge students to know and love Christ. The Bible is taught as a separate subject at school but it is also integrated into the curriculum. Then, students begin to see God as the source of wisdom, the designer of the universe, the organizer of the principles of math and music, and the guiding hand in history. Christian teachers model the attributes of God as they creatively prepare, professionally teach, and even lovingly discipline students. All this is to help our children to “get wisdom, get understanding” as advised in Proverbs 4:5.
